On the occasion of World Handwashing Day, 15th October 2021, IAPMO India has launched “IAPMO India’s Startup Sahay” an initiative to promote Indian startups innovating water, sanitation, hygiene, plumbing, and environmental technologies.
While translating their promising inventions into commercial innovations, startups face a multitude of challenges. Getting technologies evaluated independently for meeting safety and quality standards and achieving certifications that unlocks new markets, including exports, are often overlooked or are unaffordable for start-ups.
To address this, and to promote “MakeInIndia” innovations, IAPMO’s Startup Sahay initiative intends to make its world class independent testing and services accessible and affordable.
